That gt with no pedal retention may land you in the jackass thread! :p

Nice bikes though!

chadbrochill17 05-03-08 12:06 PM

The GT is my friend's. I always tell him to get some retention, but he mostly rides it SS. Plus his feet are pretty large (size 15). Here's another:

SS with not brakes? Even better!

chadbrochill17 05-03-08 12:36 PM

Yeah, you know, it's a wild ride.

letsthrowfries 05-03-08 12:41 PM

Please make him wear a helmet at least! I would hate to come here and read a story about your friend crashing and ruining his GT or his cranium. Does he just ted shred his back wheel to stop?

trons 05-03-08 02:18 PM

look at the mtb stem flipped upside down on the white bike.. failure..

^oZ 05-03-08 02:21 PM

I'd like to see a picture of you riding that in the drops, do you have one?

Little bit of an update with a crappy cell picture.

If he does crash and smash his cranium, what size is the GT frame? I would liketo have one of those 54-55cm.

maddyfish 05-03-08 08:09 PM

Sixty-fiver- Dia-compe brake caliper?

billypilgrim 05-03-08 08:23 PM

This was my bike. its changed a little, new stem, bars, switched out the brooks to my road bike etc. but its pretty much the same. I'm pretty happy with it.

It's a Dia Compe lever and a rather beautiful Italian made Universal model 77 brake.

see that's nice. why post the same bike all the time when you got a fine bike like this?

65er, don't take what I said earlier too seriously. I just like to see some diversity and not the same thing over and over again.
