I'd have to say that this is the most amazing bike i've ever seen, just because of how much love it has and how much character all those things bring to it. The is what a bike is.

edit - I presume you're putting brakes on it too, right? |
hey kids,
enuff w/the photo 101 class. who gives a s#$% about background, save it for the pics of yer gf. lets see the bike and all its cool parts. and if the bike aint cool and you don't ride it into the ground hard, and put it away wet, like our man erikinop does, well than you shouldn't have a bike and you should get more lenses for yer camera and joing a bird appreciation club. in the meantime, destroy yer bikes, rebuild them, and post the dam pics, background or no. |
hey man, welcome to yesterday.
|
Would that crazy fat lock ring work on a normal formula hub? Is it something special?
|
cc700: How're those adidas holding up for you? I recently completed an eleven-hundred mile bike tour on them (no, not on a fixed gear) and I was wondering how you liked them for commuting. I'm contemplating building myself a fixed gear within the next few months and I hadn't seen those shoes, or many SPDs for that matter, on fixies.
|
well i just got them yesterday, but on my short test ride they were sweet. my ankles are too big for them, but otherwise they fit great, vent great, and have good tread so the cleats don't get too messed up.

Nishiki Olympic-12 converted to SS. I bought the Olympic for $20 at a garage sale. I spent about $150 on other parts and the rest I already had or got from my parts box.

Nice head badge.

Solid Nishiki conversion. I like it.
|
i'll admit it, that filly is one of the most unique bikes i've ever seen. the green profiles are a nice touch.

honestly i don't see a good reason why any photograph, of anything, shouldn't be as good as you can make it.

The red bike is gorgeous. Nice L2D. I love mine, I'm wanting a 2nd.

Hello, everyone. This is my first fixed gear, and my first post on this forum.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...r/IMG_0306.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...r/IMG_0307.jpg Centurion Dave Scott I got from eBay with everything but the wheels. Had to go get a new rear wheel since the set I had would have cost me more to get a new hub and true the rim than to buy a new one outright. I've been riding around for the past two days on it. The second photo is of my stupid, stupid gear ratio. I'm currently running a 53/17, which will change the second I get my next paycheck. I don't have all the bugs worked out yet, but at least it's rideable. |
This bike really stands out in this pic. Nice shot! |

Just finished my first fixed bike today. Riding 42/15 ratio and it feels really smooth.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v5...i/IMG_2314.jpg While it's obvious you have a lot of money to spend seeing as this is your first fixed gear, it does look simple and fun. Enjoy. |
