Makoy, Im interested in hearing about/seeing that truck...
|
Here's my first fixed conversion. I've had the bike since I bought it used in 1976 from a friend that raced it in 1975.

What bullhorns are those?
Those look to be older profile pursuit bars, never seen them angled up like that tho? Good light comfy drop pursuits |

nice... but wondering, is that reflective tape on the rims, if so nice touch and more subtle than my thought of reflective pinstripes on the frame... and how those fenders work for you

I think he means to pull that rear wheelcloser to the seat tube, so it's nice and tight like the front wheel against the downtube... I could be wrong tho.
|
why?
if the tension is just right and the the rear wheel is safe on the dropouts, why remove links to get less than half an inch closer to the seat tube? |

http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...img_1217-1.jpg Haven't really had a need for the fenders yet. To be honest, I just couldn't pass up matching white fenders. |
My fixed wheel bike, it is a real work horse, about 7,000 miles a year on it, especially in the bad weather.

I notice it seems like every new bike out has a sloping top tube. i prefer level or maybe sloping the other way a little. oh well.
|
The real wheel on that Miele looks like it's about to fall out of the dropout.
