Are those cyclones road doubles? pretty clean bike overall, not a big fan of the black tape it's not like it's a big surprise what it says underneath it.

cc700 03-08-09 03:55 AM

i like the tape as long as it's reflective.

is that thomson a 26.8, or is it stuck in there framerape style? i really want a 26.8.

I don't think the frame fits you.

bmw5nkj 03-08-09 04:14 PM

that yamaguchi needs a more modern saddle and clipless pedals, then it will be perfect.

The old rule for fit was that one would have a fistful of seatpost and that is a freaking tall frame... how tall are you anyways ?

I love the shots btw.

504-ranger 03-08-09 05:46 PM

im 6'2" and the frame is 62cm lol it was cheap on cl i had to get it, and since its so tall nobody wants to ride it!

Just bought the Nitto B123 bars. Next up will most likely be a Brooks B17 in green, new wheelset/tires and cranks.

they are indeed road doubles. the bottom bracket spindle is quite short for doubles to get the chain line right with the outside position. as far as the tape, im just not a big fan of the overbadging, and it may afford me a bit more side visibility.

Yeah.... I just spent like the last hour reading through his blog and his flickr.... he's got a goldmine of bikes. ****ing amazing. And he apparently scored almost all his frames/parts for next to nothing....

nuts. That yamaguchi is one of 4....

cc700 03-08-09 10:05 PM

10k spent 25k flipped and he kept three of the best frames for himself.
