****, half the motivation for riding so much is so i can abuse my body but still be physically fit, haha

saddle angle is comfortable and bars are very deep so that's why the stem is so high

I have 4, including the Trek. I was selling this one, but no one has bought it yet

Nice! I've got a separated shoulder, so I'm chillin right now. Gonna get out there as soon as I can though. Hopefully the next few weeks.

What happened?

s_allen_p 03-09-09 02:21 PM

sorry if this gets posted twice, but when i tried posting it a few minutes ago there was some weirdness and it showed up where the banner ad is at the top of the screen (???).

the seat is on loan from my other bike while i look for a new one that doesn't make me go numb.

New to the forums as I just got into biking again. Been using it for road cycling mostly but I like the fact you can mess around on fixies too just for fun. I like it as my first entry level bike and I plan to pick up a nicer frame when I am better. Bought it new a month ago but here it is after a month and most likely how it'll stay. I love how it always gets me out to ride now, biking is just fun.

gyeswho,
what size are those big apples? Did you have to modify your CC to fit the fender?

blickblocks 03-09-09 05:03 PM

Are those Salsa Poco bars?

Jamis Sputnik, got it as a leftover '08 on clearance last week. Stock + TEKTRO front brake, Cane Creek lever, Surly 19T cog, Easton bullhorns, and Shimano PD-A520 pedals.

So keen to go ride that I couldn't take a few mins to clean the place up before shooting this pic and going out for the first time.

OneMoreGear 03-09-09 09:09 PM

Wow, the Sputnik is such a clean bike. Did it really come in under 17 pounds?

gospastic 03-09-09 11:18 PM

I think thats an '07.
