What an amazing photo! The IRO Serra.

I like this developing trend of bikes paired with large outdoor art.

There is NO WAY that that is a 49T chainring.

All's I'm saying.

potus 08-02-05 10:12 AM

here's two pics of the Bridgestone I purchased from e-framebank and brought back from Japan
non-NJS parts: spokes, rims (Mavic MA40), tubes, & tires
NJS parts: D/A hubs, crank, bb, ring, cog, post, Nitto bars & stem, Five Gold saddle, HKK chain, Hatta headset, MKS pedals & clips, Toshi straps

Classic. I love it.

absntr 08-02-05 10:23 AM

Classy indeed. It's looking like the Japanese bikes are prettier these days.

maple rims! sorry if everyone's seen this already, I just came across it today.

Mercier666 08-02-05 02:00 PM

Never heard of it but thsoe look awesome. Wonder what it'd look like if u had an eggplant velocity on one side and that maple on the other.

Potus... gorgeous bike. Does e-framebank have a storefront location in Japan, or did you buy it online and have it shipped to someone you know there?

I finally finished it today. It's my first fixie, and it's fun as hell to ride. I'm still waiting on the Eggbeaters, but other than that, I think it's done.

I'm not sure if they have a storefront or not. I'm pretty sure they're in Okinawa so it's a bit out of the way. I was living in Japan when I bought the frame so I had it shipped to my crib.

sashae 08-02-05 04:30 PM

Ahh... ok.. My wife's brother lives in .jp, so it'd be feasible for me as well. I'm actually planning on going to Cycle Recycle Depot and Kalavinka while I'm there, was just curious if e-framebank had a storefront as well.

Here's to hoping for a nice cheap frame ;)

Hey CEYA - sprints at zero-8 during the CMWC! Awesome! (just read up at OLDSKOOLTRACK.COM) Nice work man, way to be there for all the racers.

PS - if the LEVEL is a 54cm, sell it to me - it looks so very alone! HA!

ink1373 08-03-05 10:40 AM

I thought I'd bring this bike to everyone's attention again, for no good reason other than it's awesome.
