All I know about this bike is that was custom made for the Fanini cycling team, from Tuscany, maybe was a training bike since they never compete track racing. This bike was found Brazil for $80... As for the for clearance from the pedals is perfect almost no overlap! So when I ride my Cinelli is pretty difficult (posting pictures of that baby soon) D_ |

I just purchased this off my pal Mikael, it's a Nishiki Trim Master conversion job, rusty as feck. Rigida DP18 deep profile rims, Maillardi hub. Shimano 600 cranks, clapped out Brooks. Important piece of history - it's the oldest messer fix in Helsinki Gonna ride it trough this winter - I figured if it lasted four it's gonna last one more :) |

Cheers, Olly Yeah I'm riding tubes (some cheapo Vittoria copies)... so far so good, I have no issues and the ride is WAY smoother than clinchers. The clearance from the fork crown is okay, tight but not as safe for riding. The head tube angle is not steep as it look like, maybe cuz the fork angle. Here is my bike. A guy had it in storage for 20 years. It looked like new.
No decals but might be a Decker from Seattle. Sugino cranks. Wheels are from different manufacturers but match cosmetically. Tires are 20 years old Vittoria's, but were unused and still wrapped in plastic. 1 speed... It may get fixed yet, it all depends on how much I like having my brakes freeze up on me in the winter. But I think if I do switch to a new back wheel that I may just get a coaster. I think the thing needs a paint job or I have to find an old set of Haro Master frame stickers. It just screams 1986 freestyle bike.
