risers+aerobars. are you serious?

jim-bob 12-26-07 01:06 PM

That's more fred than jackass. It just needs a milk crate ziptied to a rack and it's good to go.

that's great. but I would think DUI bars would be more appropriate than the risers.

c0urt 12-26-07 01:31 PM

I have been debating aero bars and no brakes. So I guess it is along the same vein

I'm not sure what to think.

Here she is:

with a set up like that i would ride gripping the aerobars in the park all day and outside bars all night making fighter jet noises *neeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrmmmmmmmmmmmm* *fshwwwm* *pow* *krakow* *rrrrrrrrrrrrrrmmmmmmm*
but what ever works for you could be cool too you know

xiamsammyx 12-26-07 04:49 PM

he stated a very obvious reason for putting the aero bars on his risers... pay attention you cripples...

Oh No 12-26-07 04:56 PM

EDIT: resized fo reezy

Oh No 12-26-07 05:27 PM

the gray stuff on my tt pad is reflective. also my bars are bright pink. i wasn't really going for a "color scheme" just bursts of color in odd places. the only other neat thing about my bike is my stem is an old nitto 65 ano'd black.

wearyourtruth 12-26-07 05:51 PM

seriously people, read a little before you start *****ing about what is obviously nothing more than an "i'm bored and screwing around" setup. so quick on the draw you are...

Here is the bike I picked up on craigslist for 425. about a 53 cm, way too small for me. Full Superbe Pro, also came with forte cf fork and cane creek headset, soon to be removed

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2388/...fc8152.jpg?v=0

Here is the crank with mks pedals

http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2262/...797f50.jpg?v=0
and the front hub

My Viner with Superbe Pro Crank, Nitto Stem, and boring everything else

and my group buy Iro, cyclocross crank, dura ace track rear, shimano dynohub front, modified angel aerobar, carbon front brake, and profile levers

and a close up of the bars

feel free to make fun of me

Oh No 12-26-07 06:44 PM

man whats there to make fun of? nice whips.

asherlighn 12-26-07 06:48 PM

If you want to get rid of that 53cm CD, I'l totally take it off your hands! (no joke, Ive been looking to buy something like that for a while)

And I really like your bikes.

Serendipper 12-26-07 06:55 PM

Dr. Abeyance...transfer all Superbe gruppo components to the Viner stat!

The IRO appears to be in excellent condition. A routine checkup every six month, and she's fine.

The Cannondale was noble to sacrifice vital organs...I forsee some type of sainthood or at least a glowing eulogy.

Dibs on the fork and headset! My all black carbon roadie needs an upgrade.
