You know BigBossMan, right? Best Sig ever. "I'm on my beater bike" Translation: I had this baby custom-made in Tuscany using titanium blessed by the Pope. I took it to a wind tunnel and it disappeared. It weighs less than a fart and costs more than a divorce. |
My first (and current) fixed:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v4...dyrootbeer.jpg Brown Peugeot road frame (unsure of model) found in the backyard of my apartment, overgrown with weeds and rusting away. One of my roomates told me it'd be sitting there for at least two years, rotting. I picked it up and thought it may fit me, so I brought it upstairs and cleaned it up. Threw some wheels on it, and what do you know? Perfect fit! I have since replaced most of what I found on it with used and budget parts, doing a good part of it on my own and learning as I go... I'm pretty happy with it now. Just gotta chop those bars to my shoulder width so I don't feel like I'm gonna get stuck splitting traffic! Many thanks to the guys at Box Dog for helping me out at the bench for hours and hours. Here is a pic of the wheel alone ... If A is the case, then the nipples with circles are all coming from the same flange, and that has got to be a PITA to true (usually every other nipple comes from the same flange). http://img512.imageshack.us/img512/4218/wheelaw2.jpg If B is the case, then this is a genius wheel design, and the spokes that are outlined are on the same flange as those that are circled. The circled ones are from twisted pairs. http://img441.imageshack.us/img441/4928/wheel2bu5.jpg Which is it? Please tell me B. |
