I would like to see a pic of that frame outside on a sunny day though. gotta make a living, and one day i will have a digital camera, but until then i use the store camera for all my documenting purposes. |

http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u...9/CIMG0052.jpg Lovely. I picked up a green Mercier a couple of weeks ago too. Love it so far. Will post pics when I'm "done" with it. Once again, great work! |
american apparel shirts are comfy. my friend works for a clothing company and their shirts are printed on their shirts. mad free comfy shirts. also, the hoffy looks sick.

That frame is so awesome. So, so awesome.
You have such good taste. Whats the sticker on your seatpost? |
A friend of mine has a very early 90s (I think) Tecnos exactly the same as that and it has, of all things, second edition 8 speed 105 on it and he still races on it. It doesn't look any better than that (though that could change with some nicer stuff). The best thing about his is all the parts are permanently scarred from corrosion, and he doesn't care. He is the essence of a true cyclist (he's bloody quick too)
|
i've also got myself a green mercier; cuz of my chain lock the paint on the bike is nicked up as all f*ck so i might repaint it. i'll take pics as soon as i throw my new, handbuilt by me, wheelset on.
|
This is a silly question, but from a quick google I couldn't find anywhere to actually purchase the Mercier. Any links?
|
i'd email bikesdirect. none listed right now, but they're the ones selling em.
|
why the hate on american apparel anyway?
|
www.bikesdirect.com for those bikes and many others
|
That Mercier would go way faster with a white saddle.

I often see some real nice "photoshoot" style pictures (with nice uniform background), but I can never figure out where you'd have to do to achieve that effect. |
i've had this bike for a few years, but only just got to use a digital camera to take proper photos last night! and besides, the bar tape is new...
i like my bike: http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h2...ix/raining.jpg required grafitti shot: http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h2...lookbeyond.jpg "look beyond the 9 to 5" down by the bay: http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h2...x/DSC00648.jpg getting wet: http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h2...x/DSC00649.jpg |
