yeah super light I have the 42t on my beater right now the teeth are in ok shape but with my weight ya know the rest of the story I will probably replace it next month the other is a 52t perfect for general needs I let ya know like I said

Yeah, it was a experiment. Seat has already been returned to a more comfortable position. As for the post being high, the seat tube isn't quite high enough for me.

Just built this for my wife. Technically it's neither a FG or SS, but a 2sp. I rebuilt a Bendix 2sp kickback coaster hub (super fun to ride, not to build). This started life as a 5sp Concord roaster that my sister gave me (cost her $20). I removed the braze-on's, built the new hub up, painted, etc. Had flopped roadster bars, they looked cool but were uncomfortable, changed them to promenades. I let her have my SR royal pista cranks for the 80's too. I'm such a giving husband.

EDIT: Before someone gives me s***. It had drop bars, hence the TT protector, changes the bars out, but she wouldn't let me take the TT protector off. She liked it too much and there was no changing her mind. Now it just slides up and down the TT to protect the paint when she locks it up.

old italian folding bike me and my husband found behind a neighbors house after they moved out..it was all covered in grass and vines and I rode it until the bearings started to grind in the wheels..it went about 100miles or so in some group rides before that happened..then I got the sweet bmx wheels and put the stock lowrider tires on it hehe..

thanks!..f***ing lowriders are pieces of crap but man are they pretty..and its the funest and funniest thing to ride ever...its all front heavy and SUPER wobbly and goes at the very most like 8mph... but I did see someone trackstand on it hehe..I also saw someone unscrew the not locktighted or lockringed cog off by doing a jamacian skid..that was the funniest thing Ive ever seen:lol:

this is what my bike is lookin like right now. some dick stole tha goddam kashimax off the top tube, and i broke a spoke on the rear, so the spare superbe pro rear is on. going back to the drops after havin risers on for a while can be weird i've found... cinelli stem/3T drops.

Send dem Honjos to me! I'm kind of going through the same process with my (geared) vintage project right now. I was originally going to go with shellaced blue tape, blue straps etc... but I think it would just take away from the awesome blueness of the frame. I already have black straps lying around and a little extra black cloth tape, so black it is. The shellaced black looks sick on your bike. Now I just have to find some nice non-aero levers.

I'm only half kidding on the Honjos, but my first choice is Bluemels fenders (if I can find some that aren't totally beat or cost a zillion dollars).

I was thinking about putting the Honjos on French rando frame. If they don't fit, I may send you a PM :)

One thing about blue tape and shellac, the cotton sucks up the shellac so much it turns almost black after just a couple of coats.

BTW, the cool thing about shellac is that if you wrap your bars reverse and end on the bar ends, you don't have to use electrical tape, twine, etc. You can just stuff it in, put your plugs in and shellac away.
