Alright, I know this is like asking a guy how much he paid for his mail-order bride, but I won't even ask about the price. I just am interested in knowing where one locates a frame as stunning as that Colnago. I can't imagine there are a whole lot of those around and if one were to be interested in locating one, I'm wondering how that might happen. Probably need to know a secret handshake, or just sit with your ear to the conch and listen...

ok, the story behind it is I got enough money for a new frame, so just to see if I got any interesting hits, I posted something on craigslist saying wtb track frame. that was the only reply I got. it was amazing when I read yeah, I have this colnago track frame, you can come check it out. I was so happy.

ha, yeah. I got it for 700, frame/fork/mavic bb/american classic headset/ lugged japanese drop stem, soma bonzo bars, and a chain. im so happy.

That story is unreal, Chris! Yeah, nice work. I have enough trouble emailing people on c-list and getting a response, much less making a posting in "wanted" and getting a response. Really, really crazy that the person was actively trying to sell that frame; something like that seemingly sells itself.

Well, congratulations and yeah, your luck is all used up for around 9 years or so. I think c-list will see postings regarding people looking for amazing Colnago frames for cheap in every city they have listed.

It is only April but you might have "find of the year" sewn up for the forum:)
