Everything on it is cheap but for a budget build it rides great and looks decent.

[QUOTE=chinnt]final build is done...
- Kalavinka - 8630 tubing - gun metal gray w/red lettering with Edo-Taka

ok, ok...I got the message....I scrapped that pic from my original post...(perhaps this is a little better...)

mykrrrr 05-20-07 07:54 AM

Definitely not as cool as 99% of the bikes on here but here's my new fixie/ss.

I'll probably end up selling this one and building myself something custom but it was hella cheap (way under MSRP since I work @ a shop.)

Top of bars higher than saddle = win.

So. . .hows the weather up there? :D I like the color.

You could rent out the main triangle for advertisement.

diff_lock2 05-20-07 04:20 PM

I don't think i have seen a longer head tube. A frame that size needs larger wheels, and a longer wheel base, its just so ugly.

doofo 05-20-07 04:24 PM

when the headtube is longer than the fork you should get a chopper style ape hanger bar with a smaller bike

Opinion - a personal belief or judgment that is not founded on proof or certainty.

agreed...I took the pic to show a friend. I'll probably take some new ones soon. I've already changed the stem on it.

Hopetoditchcar 05-20-07 07:53 PM

I put the saddle down so I would be less likely to use it. It is a painful saddle and I haven't had a chance to purchase a nice one. The frame does look akward but it fits nice being that I'm kinda tall. I can stand over the top tube with plenty of clearance.

fix 05-20-07 07:56 PM

So without the "height is not a good indicator of bike size" comments, how tall are you and what size is that?
:)

schnee 05-20-07 08:49 PM

He could almost mount a seat inside that triangle, put pedals on the front wheel and have a recumbent.
