its small... the guy hasn't responded even though the craigslist ad was just posted the night before... i'm thinking i may have been too late.

i think it would be a good size for me though, i feel too stretched out on my frame.

are you still in new york?

shants 06-19-07 12:54 PM

that's funny - i used to ride a red makino kind of like that around columbus. mine was an absurd 58cm though.

Torey 06-19-07 01:05 PM

haha, you gotta take what you can get with those frames sometimes though. i'm guessing you found one in a better size and sold that 58 for a pretty penny.

Picture with all the latest updates, still in love with it.

baxtefer 06-19-07 02:49 PM

did you replace the stem with the exact same kind that exploded on you?

zephyr16 06-19-07 03:27 PM

^^ wow... nice wheels

mugatu 06-19-07 03:38 PM

that's a very well put together conversion

john_and_off 06-19-07 05:16 PM

that conversion looks nice, but clips and straps or a clipless system would really do it justice...

DannyRocks 06-19-07 05:57 PM

In all fairness, he does have a front and rear brake.

bonechilling 06-19-07 06:17 PM

I think it has more to do with efficient pedaling than any
brake/no brake issue.

zephyr16 06-19-07 06:20 PM

well, if you really want efficient pedaling than he should go clipless...

el twe 06-19-07 07:56 PM

still waiting for my IRO crank set to come in, and wheels. and im back on the streets.

kyle! 06-19-07 08:27 PM

jesus, can there one bike ever posted on here that doesn't have clip/straps or clipless that isn't told over and over and over what it's owner should do?. i agree, usually but damn.

i think that white bike is dope as **** and i'm sure, given his set up and amount of time he's been on this board, he's in the know. plus i think it's singlespeed anyway so shhhhhhhh.

el twe 06-19-07 08:30 PM

Anyone ever stop and go, "Hey, didn't he say that was a singlespeed?"

It has most to do with keeping your feet on the pedals. Power transfer is a fring benefit.

justintime8425 06-19-07 10:06 PM

I just added this seat. I saw it at the local recyclery and fell in love. I got the seat and a set of risers for a small donation of $5.

SkyeC 06-19-07 10:21 PM

nice score on the seat. i just got a computer today to see what i normally clip along at... was decently surprised. :) and yeah, the bandana is lame but so is the bracket for the computer. pick an evil.
