Wait, no, it wouldn't |
So i just picked up my first SS yesterday afternoon.
It's an old Robin Hood frame, flipped & chopped bars. No idea on crank, wheels, etc. It needs a little love, but that's why i got it... http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b6...s/PIC-0095.jpg |

I hope that is a FG not a SS. Other wise you will end up on your face eventually.

I don't see why you would end up on your face. Maybe the CG on my bikes are too far to the rear, but i can lock my front wheel before flippin. The rear will lift and my face will be ripped of, but i am not flipping.

It is SS. I'm actually planning on running a rear brake too. OR switching it to FG. After riding it around a bit just having the front brake isn't too bad. Now of course there were no "emergency"/oh ****! situations on my SHORT ride yesterday...

Get urself a rear brake, wouldnt cost as much as a FG. If u want to get an FG then buy one off the shelf for cheap. (Thats the best and cheapest alternative).

I ride a fixed hub with no lock ring (being a beast, i striped them) and a track cog. Front brake only. No safety issues YET.

I love the silver bike above, save for the core-sample drops.
