Not new that I know of. Unless you get the Kilo and sell all the parts I'd bet that would fetch $150. But your still stuck with Decals and 3 colors at this point.

If it's going to be a desirable aluminum frame it's got to have non aero tubing. Something along the lines of the concept/GT/cannondale.

I just can't get down with the FTP.

Oh and the seat tube cut out would be rad, but not as important as non aero tubing IMO.

Absolutely, in terms of a great middle ground between street and track the concept is a prime example.

The only track frame, that comes to mind, that you could buy new with 200 bucks is a Sparton. From what I've heard, the only thing really going for that are the lugs.

but on second order I will get egg shell and khaki

I may even build a complete commuter with this frame

I love this catagory of bike!

Oooh - those will be nice! Can you share some pics of the complete Jury frame. So far you've only teased us with detail shots unless you posted more pics somewhere? How about some color sample shots to let us get an approximate idea of the colors too.

Thanks!

Got mine on friday.

It is very orange. The pictures do not really show the color very well, it is very close to highlighter orange.

Love the frame, though!

that sounds awesome. could you post some better pictures?

Live2Die 04-20-08 11:44 PM

Mine comes in the morning and should be ridable by Tuesday but parts wont be in till next week for me. I'll post pics as soon as I get it and during/after build. Mines white though not orange.

give me a few hours. the frame is on the truck. If the shop can put on the headset before end of day, you will have pics. Unless you want a pic of the complete bike, then next week. :(

craigmoyer 04-21-08 03:58 PM

i'll have my 57 orange built up completely by early may =(

SeanBonham 04-21-08 04:31 PM

Does not have to be complete, I just wanna see some other than the somewhat bad BikesDirect photos.

Live2Die 04-21-08 05:34 PM

Here it is as far as I got in 45 minutes. I think the frame looks great! can't wait to get it out! Wheelset is in transit so these are just mock up's as I don't intend to run tubular's on my beater :) Hope it helps. sorry the pictures are not great it decided to rain and sleet in Oregon Today. Cheers!

With my oder deep V (on a 130 hub thats why it's not on the frame) so you can get an Idea if it was matching.

Hey, all you bikes direct haters do realize that those bikes are manufactured by the same guy who owns bikesdirect.com correct? I mentioned that I was a mechanic at a store once and I got my head bitten off. The guy that owns all the names lives in florida, he owns motobecane, mercier, and a million different beach cruisers. He just owns the names and buys the frames from a dealer in china. Peace

proa1213p 04-21-08 05:58 PM

By the way I used to rock the white hour, same frame as the kilo tt. I got the store discount but than I realized that I was selling out.

proa1213p 04-21-08 06:00 PM

I have an old fuji now, but the geometry sucks compared to my hour and I can't stop. So I guess the joke is on me.

I don't know who this post is towards, but it looks like you should have put it in the road forum's BD thread. Most people here are alright with BD.

Also, re-reading this, it isn't clear whether you're okay with BD or against them.

Taiwan but thats the same right ;) And Yes I think everyone knows that, But I don't quite get your point? Somehow it's a bad idea to get a good frame at a great price because somebody buys overseas? I guess you're right! I'll recycle my frame and place an order with Vanilla and then in 3 years and 3 mortgages later I'll have a great locally made bike! Thanks for setting us all straight!

proa1213p 04-21-08 06:12 PM

No, I didn't have a problem with it at all, in fact I wish I still had mine, but I sold it for some reason. I just thought everyone always hated on bikesdirect and I found it odd that everyone was loving on it. They're a good bike for a price so buy away. Peace
