Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

You know, you can say this about a lot of porn on the internet, bikes or not. I mean, I agree with you, but this is the thread I come to when I want to see **** like that.

The Parlee is very nice, but yes, wrong forum. There is something odd about that Conago, but I'm not sure whats bugging me. I know one thing is that that it seems so clean and polished, yet the tires are not lined up right. Nice though!

this is bike porn thread, not just fg. there are geared bikes all throughout this thread. and no, they are not on opposite ends of the spectrum... they are both bicycles. not to mention that this is MIN's thread, and that bike is amazing.

whatever, you guys are inconsistent then. you jump on him for posting his new bike he's proud of

but you let the other geared bikes slide cause their brand makes track bikes too, hypocritical.

not to mention min started the thread, so i suppose he defines what the porn is.

i thinks it's amusing that when a colnago road frame is fixed, people cry foul as if geared bikes take precedents over fixed gear. then, when a geared bike is offered as porn, people cry foul. it seems some people will find any excuse to hate but in the end we're all here because we're bike nerds.

i spent 6+ weeks sourcing parts and built the bike up myself entirely - even bought the friggin $200 campy 11 chain tool. you form a special connection with a bike when you sweat the details of a build. i can happily say it's the best bike i've ever ridden. frame is beyond reproach.

Any reason to choose a pulsion crankset over campy one, and choose campy seatpost over other ones?

Yeah, tell that to all the people who invested in Regina tools.

Italian design.

Hmm. I still have some Regina tools from way back, and they have held up rather well. Too bad I have nothing to use them on anymore.

I had a Stronlight Pulsion from a previous build and it's lighter than even Super Record. Narrow q-factor is a plus. The Record seatpost is quality - wanted something that would last.

It's the finest tool I've ever held. I was actually excited to drive the pin through and then flare out the end from the other side. That sounded very sexualized. Porn thread, when in Rome eh.

More photos.
