Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Looks solid to me... if you think your stem is too high, lower it and see if you like it. Your handlebars are higher than your seat, which looks awkward to me considering that they are road drops. Are you running singlespeed?

Yeah im running single speed. And yeah thought the seat and stem height were questionable but its comfortable. I need to raise my seat like an inch though and perhaps lower the stem half an inch

It's not always about how high or low it "looks". Sure, aesthetically it doesn't look optimal, but as long as it fits you comfortably, which you stated, you are fine. Too many people refer to the "pro" look which does not always mean it's best for them.

btw, nice looking bike

Why do you have brakes?!

Don't you friends frown upon it?

Kidding.

Looks good, but I think a TT brake lever would look better.

with a head tube that long, a stem that short will put him farther behind the front axle than desirable, especially if any geometry was possible. the same reach and height could have been achieved with a 130mm stem. no matter, unpainted steel will be a bigger issue soon enough.

I hate those D2 framesets. Ugly shape, overdone decals, crude looking welds. Fortunately, Bianchi brought back the Pista Concept in the form of the Super Pista. Hope your buddy doesn't have to ride in strong cross winds.

i have a feeling that I change crap on my bikes more than guys shoe/poopz magootz

probably gonna chop down the ends some time, looks a bit too goofy super tall like that. didn't do it before i threw them in the parts bin because i was afraid it would kill the value, but now that the sweet fixie market has died i don't think these bars will ever have value haha
