Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? bought these Dia Compe brake levers for 8 bucks from a local bike co-op so I can be more versatile while commuting on my fixed gear ^_^. They are kind of funny looking but whatever.

Quick question are they just dummies or are they actually brakes? I think they are cute.

I wasn't sure what to call them so dummies work haha. just took a short ride around the block on the levers, very comfortable and will do wonders on hills.

I was thinking of this; is it wide enough to fit an iphone?

omg you dont even know!
it fits my iphone 3g + incase hardshell.
extra neat = you see that "hole" on top? the flap that comes down has a dedicated headphone slit on exactly the correct position so you can properly route your iphone headphones out.
i think this case was designed specifically for an iphone.

Ooooooooh, I like where this Presto is going.

Have you thought about what cranks, chainring etc you'll be using?
