Super light too... I found the stem at a local Co-Op, found the matching seatpost on eBay... in total it was ~$80 for the pair

pics on the madison pronto. i really want that combo, but i havent found them on the sfbay craigslist/ebay for cheap enough and i definitely wouldn't pay retail. i'm still fine with my origin8 (soon to be a slightly longer IRD) stem.

Who said anything about the Madison receiving these parts? Either way, I suppose I could throw them on there for the time being... Frame still says it's stuck in Chicago... Damn snowpocalypse!

Help me figure this out:

R550

R770

I just want a simple cheap no-nonsense brake lever... Can anybody tell me aside from one being black, the other silver... What is the difference between these two?

Obviously, reading is not my forte.

I'm not familiar with Shimano's mtb line up but I think the R550 is of a lower line of R770.

I was thinking about switching over to MTB pedals and shoes. I am on and off my bike a lot, do a fair bit of walking, and it is a pain in my road shoes.
