Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Gipiemme still exists, but they have poor distribution in the USA.

Nemesis outdoor is the UK importer, and there is a German importer too. A bunch of guys on the Weight Weenies forums got together a while back to order some of the rims.

I also strongly suspect that the Dodici rims are actually the Gipiemme rims, or at least are made by the same people (maybe DRC Cerchi). The Dodici rims would be easier to get.

OMG OMG OMG.

I'd like it more if it were a wheelset though...

I believe I read somewhere that gipiemme made the rims. Just that they had to make their own brand's rim slightly smaller to make campy's in short "campy" Just a heads up.

and i believe dodici rims are pretty much the closest thing you can get. They even offer 16 hole count rims

i can pick a shamal rim up for 50 and a 36h atlanta wheel for 70. just have to replace a spoke on the atlanta. problem: the atlanta is a front an would not build the shamal as rear since its 16h. might pick both up and relace the atlanta as a rear. mhmm the possibility.

My teammate is selling her Gipiemme Tecno 716 Pro front wheel. The hub is Ritchey and the tire is a new Continental Sprinter. No skewer. $200 + shipping. I'm selling it for her.
