Wrong guess. There were 18 framesets sold, one in each of the 6 sizes and 3 colors (black, white, raw). The sale price ranged from $66 to $124.72, and only 2 framesets sold for more than $110. There were 5 framesets that sold for less than $90 or 28% of the auctioned framesets. Currently, Wheel&Sprocket has a BIN price of $144.08 on its remaining stock of Scrambler framesets, so it wouldn't surprise me to see them further discount them in order to move stock. Personally, I can't see paying more than $100 for that frameset.

You're welcome, I just saved you from an impulse purchase of questionable necessity. Not that I feel bad about a carbon Alpha Q TS for $120.

wheelandsprocket is now giving me a second chance offer on an Alpha Q GS 10 for $80. Should I get it? I have absolutely no need for it, as this is too nice a fork to install on my campus computer.

I dunno, do you have any intention of building up a lightweight road/racing bike in the near future?
It's certainly a pretty great fork for a price you're not gonna beat, but if all you've got is a sweet fixie and a mountain bike it's probably a waste of money.
If someone offered me a bottle of Blue Label for $80 I'd probably turn them down, even though it's a great deal, because I don't drink scotch.
It's like that.

Truth. I'm waiting to see if they'll send me any more second chance things. I actually wanted the set of TT brake levers.
What's interesting is that the original fork up for bid sold for $116ish, but they're selling them second chance for $80.

There isn't much profit margin. Wheelandsprocket is also selling it BIN for $120.

Painfully average.
