Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? It's a free style fixed gear bike. Commonplace with the discipline.

When'd you put the rigid fork on? and swap bars? and a lot of other stuff?

Only thing I don't like is the saddle graphic.

Went rigid nearly 1 year ago. The bars I decided that I wanted a higher rise than what I originally had on it, cranks I just missed the solid feel of a shimano mtb crank. The SLX brake's been there for ages. Pedals I have had for a couple of days. Thomson stuff(stem, headset cap, seatpost clamp) Just because.

Not wild about the saddle myself, but the cut and profile is perfect for what I look for in a saddle for a DJ bike.

+1 on saddle.

Ideally it would have one of these, just to keep with the Ferrari colour scheme ...

Never going back to a railed saddle for a DJ setup.

Seeing no-one's been rude to me for a day or so, I thought I'd slip in my 'townie' - basically she's the bike I take to the shops, tow the dog in his trailer, ride with the family all that sort of daft stuff.

Trouble is, looking at it now, it's such a rubbish photo this might be a waste of time.

BTW, she's fixed gear. Foot retention is currently a pair of toe clips on those plastic mtb pedals. The plan was to get a pair of those wide straps you use without clips so I could wear any shoes, even my sandals. Sadly, my finances are such I can't even afford them at the moment

I can't tell for sure, but I don't think I like whatever it is you're using for handlebars

Unless it's a Batarang, then best bike ever.

Thanks. They're standard mtb bars (that were cut back for bike polo) but I've got a pair of those ergonomic bar ends fitted - horrible looking things but comfy when you (finally) get them set right. Love the Batarang reference. Might adopt it as her name

Thanks mate. In real life, the rims are a closer match in colour than they appear here. Those AlexG6000 rims are tough - two years of bike polo and still true. I got 'em at a good price too, $45 off eBay, brand new
