They're pretty reliable in the long run but they do some stupid things in the short run. I've had them put a hold on my account for 3x the order amount that ended up tying the account up for 5 days, no one at the company could find a record of my order to issue a refund or remove the hold. Order arrived at my house before they even had confirmation that it was picked and shipped. This is the only issue I've had in the several orders I've placed with them.
But don't hesitate to order from them, they're owned by the same parent company as Performance Bicycle so you know if you ever have an actual issue you'll be covered 100%. Even if it does take some escalation and complaining.

I've been ordering from them since they started out as 'Bicycle Warehouse' in the '70s and have never had a problem. There was an issue a couple years ago when someone got credit card information from the company that handles their card processing. Nothing fraudulent ever showed up on my bill but others here weren't as lucky. AFAIK it wasn't the fault of Nashbar and I've continued to order from them. As mentioned, they were bought by Performance quite a few years ago but continue to be operated somewhat separately.

ordered some tires from Probikekit.com, they are a legit site but the shipping to US is damn slow. Prices make it worth it however.

In my opinion, paying an extra couple of dollars to order from a seller that you trust is well worth it.

Guessing that living on the west coast tacks on an extra day or 2 in delivery, I got my pro4 order from PBK in 7 days from their hub in Belgium a week and a half ago.

I think that the customs in the northeast is slower. They usually deliver faster to the west coast. Still it is good to know.
