It was "inspired by" Mr. Tiemeyer's work

Tiemeyers have removable Titanium track ends. That's a quick way to spot a Tiemeyer. Titanium because the metal is softer than steel and allows the track nuts to bite and hold, which keeps the wheel from sliding forward during really hard efforts.

I'm not sure what's more jack: the fact that the guy from Macaframa is selling skidded out randos as belts, or the response from Wired magazine.

they had track wheels for so cheapz a while ago too =<

edti*: oh my they're still there => 82mm deep for $549??? the decal is fugly.
