Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Lose the attitude. No one was going to give you crap for having brakes. For being a jerk, maybe.

It bugs me when people feel they need to justify why they use brakes.

Sundance was in that general area, no? If he was there for his own screening, then it makes sense.

He's had a few "out of the way" placements, the ones in Detroit being one example off the top of my head.

Built this guy up from a frame i got at a swap meet. Pulled the fork from an abandoned hybrid, they happened to be sort of the same color.Clearance is really tight out back, but she has been alot of fun so far. The frame is a bit small for me so I just set it up as a townie for a while, It may go back to being one too, not sure yet. I'm liking the gearing, the fabled 63 gear inches(40x17), gets me around relatively quickly and fun in the mud. Could be a hair lower.

^this.
it was done when some others were done around salt lake and park city.
plus its floating around the web with random people with no credentials confirming it.
that's good enough for me

That is the only bike I can say looks bad ass with Aerospokes, and one of the few I think looks good with a flat bar. It must be all in the tires

I feel the same. It has so many things I normally hate on bikes, but it somehow mixes them all in such a way that make it look awesome.

Well, it seems I have misrepresented myself. I might have come off as a jerk, or that I'm insecure or whatever, but mostly I think that the humor in the delivery of "none of your goddam business" was lost to the written word. I love my bike. Glad to join the forum. Eat a bowl of dicks.

That's how I took it in the first place. Last line of this post made me giggle.

@Gyeswho

Just wondering, how much does that build weigh? It looks like a tank with those tires! P.S. I've never seen aerospokes as beefy dressed as yours.
