Bearings lubed with petroleum jelly will spin very quickly and smoothly because it isn't as viscous as most grease but it breaks down very quickly.

Today someone at amazon is going to be fired.

Today I had Terry Francona sign a get well card for my dad. He's been in the hospital for 22 days, so this will help to cheer him up.

Put in a good 75 miles. I also had the privilege of having BOTH hamstrings cramp up at the same time when I got off my bike about mile 60

Today I think I may have figured out a solution to the 930. Affixed a metal plate to the inside of the dropout. Going to test it tomorrow. Also did some digging.

This is possibly the only time I wouldn't contact the seller about their mistake.

If Amazon was the seller, it's a tiny loss to them, but the picker that made the mistake could lose so much more.

If it was a small shop selling on Amazon, don't be a dick. If it was Amazon, **** 'em.

I'm not sure if you are mocking or ,agreeing with me but I'm not too worried either way.

I don't want to eff Amazon, but I'm not concerned about them losing a miniscule amount of profit either.

Nagrom_ 03-01-13 08:36 PM

He's not mocking you.

**** 'em.

LesterOfPuppets 03-01-13 08:52 PM

I kinda doubt a small shop would make that mistake, well maybe if they have some ubernoob that they're training up for summer help doing the picking.

Jandro 03-01-13 09:40 PM

6AM hill repeats. 25 mi. 3,500ft of elevation. Still adjusting to this morning training stuff.

Leukybear 03-01-13 09:41 PM

Don't worry guys, it was direct from amazon w/ prime. I also picked up some other roadie stuff from LBS's with storefronts on amazon. This was just the amazon part.

Nagrom_ 03-01-13 10:02 PM

You sell chain? Lol

Nagrom_ 03-01-13 10:37 PM

Today I put my buddy's GT series 4 together. MicroShift is actually pretty nice. Real nice lever feel.

calv 03-01-13 10:46 PM

Today I found a guy willing to sell me his unused Fizik Antares for $75 bucks. Don't think that's too bad of a deal.

The thing most people don't realize is that it's better to buy those things directly from those shops' own sites so they don't get charged ridiculous Amazon seller fees. Supporting small businesses by buying from them on Amazon is counterintuitive.
