Today I realized that I don't care about ever being a serious cyclist, and it feels so good.

I take the dmr serious, but the road riding is a stress release for me.

Dude, I had listings up on eBay and CL recently. I completely know the feeling.

"Wheelset and saddle in a couple of the pictures are only there to show you what the bike could look like built up. Everything else is for sale. I am not parting it out, so don't ask."

For a while I had pipe dreams of actually doing legit races and things like that, but losing that desire feels very liberating in a strange way. ie-never have to think about grams n' gruppos

Don't have to worry about that stuff, but I do have to with wind speed, direction, line, approach and run out. This will likely be my last year doing anything serious with the dmr.

and went for a ride with pops and got to try my new cycling shorts albeit underneath a pair shorts though next ill just wear them alone. did a leisure 15.7 miles as hes out of shape. but it was good!

heard back my lbs, and my fork replacement options were either all black or all chrome (both options lugged). So I did what all true playas would do and got dat chrome. heres to hoping it doesnt make my fixaye any less sw8

I found a nickel plated fork to match my nickel plated frame, but $425. :( Way past my fork budget!

Isn't a Ti fork with crazy lugs going halfway down the legs worth it? You'd probably be the first of your doctor buddies to have one :)

Speaking of which the fork that you're after looks a lot like kona's retro road fork which comes with many of their steel framesets, including my paddywagon.
They're only 1 1/8ths I believe.

my lbs got the replacement fork through bikesdirect, which I'm sure made them joyous, so Im pretty sure they are just giving me one of the forks from those shiny TT's. we will see hopefully before the end of the week, now I just need to get some shiny chains to match it; maybe even a big pendant that says "KiloLyfe". Gotta stay real
