Today has ban an unusually productive saturday. Started laundry, cleaned the bathroom. Switched laundry, picked up the bedroom and showered. Took laundry out of dryer, hopped on bike and ran a few errands. Now I have to put my laundry away, do the dishes, and hang out until huge raging party tonight. Not bad.

Could be many things but would check wheel balance, crap in the rims, or as it happened to me last week... a tyre separation.

i think it might be a clutch issue cuz it only happens sometimes, usually when i mess up the shift into 3 and 4. if i end up keeping the truck i'll have it checked out, but for now it's a pretty good learning tool.

Thanks man. It definitely will be. This girl I was chatting up last week is going to be there tonight too, so there's a decent chance at that. She seemed pretty in to me. And if not, its still a night of getting drunk with friends, so I win either way.

Today I tried slamming my stem, but somehow it didn't look cool.

I flipped my stem and it looked worse in my opinion, but to hell with the looks.

Happy with the way it rides, which makes me appreciate the look.

Today I rode ~50ish miles with around 4k ft climbed.

Wish I could get 'yota PU for 300 here. Rolling chassis is like $800, swear to god.

Tried out clips and straps, not as bad as I thought.... So far *knock on wood*

Today I got the itch to build up a new wheel set by spring for the roadie. Thinking something along the lines of kinlin xr-200's and maybe circus monkey hubs or soemthing similarly light.

Any suggestions guys? I'm pretty set on the kinlins (I'll probably go with wheelsmith spokes) but I don't know of a whole ton of hubs in the same lightweight ballpark as CM's.

Colonel, those wheels (and the bike as a whole) look really awesome btw. Nice job. You should think about tossing one of Soma's chromed cogs on the next time you wanna mess with your gearing to up the ante on all the shiny metal goodness! I like mine and they're really reasonably priced.
