Fun commute today. Also, good thing I checked the seat post, was starting to seize in the frame. Since there was ten tons of extra post, I simply cut about 5" off of it, which still left plenty to safely have it at the height I need it and enough sticking in the frame.

I'm surprised when you were on you were on your weight weenie kick you didn't cut it down

i has a nice 25 mile ride in the mild NJ weather with only twelve being in the rain.

That was a different seat post.

Just watched the Cavs lose. I'm going to clean up my bikes then go ride them.

Took the bus to a neighboring city to visit my local shop of choice. Went there to pick up a Park Sr-18 but along with that I came home with some new polycarbonate fenders. So much lighter then my old steel ones, though it was a bit of a fun journey getting 700c fenders to fit a 26 x 1 3/8 wheel. Almost looks like they belong there now but next time I'll let the shop have the fun of sizing and cutting mount rods while I got enjoy a long lunch.

Saw that movie last February and I've been a vegan ever since.

Mumonkan 01-12-13 10:09 AM

Dont care how cruel disgusting or unhealthy it is, i cannot stop eating meat

thewilson 01-12-13 10:59 AM

yummygooey 01-12-13 11:25 AM

I like your logic.

Today was the first ride since my accident. Not too bad.

That documentary, like every documentary needs to be taken with a grain of salt.

They didn't touch on the benefits of fish at ALL.

i try to buy local. big farming gets pretty scary. but growing up on a small farm i brought plenty of cows/pigs into this world, treated them well and took them back out.

that said, **** chickens. chickens deserve everything they get. dirty/rotten/nasty animals..... :)

yummygooey 01-12-13 12:57 PM

I've done the veggies and grains thing for awhile before and honestly I felt really really great during it...

But I like meat, and it's easier to just watch and limit what I eat instead of cutting it out completely.

I don't care much for the moral implications of eating meat or whatever.

LesterOfPuppets 01-12-13 01:12 PM

I often think about only eating meat that I personally killed. - no way in hell I could go a month without eating something that bleeds.

56.6 miles today. I feel like I'm going to die, because half of it was into 26-29 mph winds. **** that ****.

Adrian_ 01-12-13 04:09 PM

Today I went on a chill 40 mile farewell ride with a friend that's moving. Took a peektuurr.

Sweet, just sold off the rest of the kilo parts.

That kilo netted me $350 bucks total, so I pretty much bought the frame for a bill.

I am on a whole food diet that includes a lot of fruit, vegetables, cheese, butter, and meat.

Low on carbs and no wheat here.

And I like my knives.

Your friend's Giant looks dope.

Street rider 01-12-13 06:16 PM

After a nap, chocolate milk, and a can of soup, I feel better. Getting home from that ride, and struggling with the wind make me feel sick. Hydrating for a birthday party for two of my friends tonight. Its going to get weird.

yummygooey 01-12-13 07:10 PM

today i valued all my bikes for the insurance forms for my upcoming move

it's interesting to see how much it would cost to replace any of my bikes at current market prices compared to what i actually paid

Good ride on the dmr this morning, but the road ride went horribly wrong this afternoon.
