Last night I was hanging out with a sqrl and a group of people that were friends and people I just met. Was weird because we were all packed into one dorm room. And then I walked outside and there was 1/2 inch of slush and snow on the ground. Eff U Michigan, its April.

Schedule varies depending on morning meetings but typically I'm on the work shuttle at either 8:15 (non-riding mornings) or 8:50 (riding mornings). When I ride, I'm out the door at 6am.

I was exceptionally disciplined this pre-season. Being single and not waking up w sqrlfriend every morning helps.
At my peak volume (december-jan) I was up at 5:15 and out the door by 6:00 for 3hrs of riding T,W and Th. Hit 17hrs one week. Thank god those days are over (not because i have a gf
) and I can sleep another hour or two in favor of shorter more intense workouts.

Man, I have a hard enough time just waking up at 8 to get to work by 9, and it's only a half hour ride. I can't imagine being disciplined enough to wake up reliably that early for morning rides... massive props to you guys. What time to do usually go to bed before doing that? I always end up staying up until at least 12:30 - 1:30 even when I try to go to sleep earlier.
That's hilarious. Where's the Type-R badge tho?

im usually in bed by 10:30-11 on weekdays, a little later on weekends. also im flat ass asleep within 10 min of getting in bed almost always.
I need to be having a lot of fun to stay up past 11:30.
It just an internal clock thing. I'm a morning person. For example, I can stay up drinking w co-workers/friends, pass out at 3am, and still wake up by 7:30 at the latest with no alarm. It sucks for me when every1 is sleeping but I usually just go for a walk and come back w breakfast burritos.

also, alcohol consumption makes me sleep even less.
Today I tried to find a fixed gear I could buy and use while I'm out here in Augusta, GA, and was severely disappointed. I've been touring the southeast, though, and it's been a ****ing blast.

Did my first 20 mile ride. May not be great shakes to some of you, but i'm stoked after ~4 months of riding where 5 miles used to be a lot for me at the beginning. Had a few recovery beers then rode 2.6 home at 85-100 rpm, so there was still some gas in the tank. Feels good, man.
Today my kilo is finished, I will take pictures on my post work ride, it doesn't look like my sig anymore
