Today I watched the original Clash of the Titans in my Classical Mythology class. I have to say, I was pretty underwhelmed.

Today I went swimming in the ocean for the first time this year. It was really, really cold but felt incredible.

Today I got caught up on everything everyone else has been doing. Kinda sad, right?

This makes me jealous! I used to go abalone diving quite often, but haven't been in quite some time. One of my usual diving buddies has cancer (for the second or third time) so we haven't been diving for over a year. I really miss being in the ocean...

Today I got TWO flats on my front tire. :mad::mad:

First one was a piece of seashell, second was a tiny shard of glass. I can't wait until my new tires get here on Monday.

Easter Sunday was my Dad's 94th birthday -- I hope his longevity is genetic!

Today I got called an ******* by a pedestrian, after riding off the path and into the dirt to avoid the four-bro wide daisychain he and his buds had formed. I countered with a hearty "**** you" and went to Tai Chi class.

I also rode all around town today just for the hell of it (got off work early)

Today I rode to work in 35 degree weather and home in 65 degree weather. I also spent half the work day drinking margaritas and eating tacos with work friends in honor of a colleague's retirement. Whee.

I also almost crashed on my way home trying to squeeze between two cars that were too close together. It was ugly, involved bouncing off both cars and almost crashing in front of the moving one. Maybe didn't need that last glass of wine before heading home. Oops.

Today I watched a jogger get nailed by a car at an intersection - the same car that nearly hit me running a stop sign two blocks prior. Teenage girl behind the wheel, texting. Poor guy wasn't hurt other than some bad scrapes but was really shaken up. I tore the stupid girl a new one (imagine a very pissed off Henry Rollins with dreads and a beard yelling at you until you cry) and stuck around for the cops to come (who proceeded to tear her another new one).

Good job, sucks that someone got hit by a car and am glad to hear he's alright. I'm hoping the teenage driver lost their license over this since driving while texting is as dangerous as driving under the influence.

Today I built the track bike back up.

today i interviewed for my first big person job (at a graphic design studio). then i went to work and i thought... i can't wait till i get a real person job.

Today I sat on the quad and enjoyed the best weather we've had in two weeks. I then went to the co-op and volunteered for a couple hours and sifted through the stuff that's going to be on sale at the bike swap tomorrow and dibbed a few things.

Tomorrow will be my first ever bike swap and I'm really excited!

Today I got my 35t "sinz" chainring in the mail, swapped out my 42t origin8 one, shortened my chain + cleaned/lubed for fun
rode 35/18 around the neighborhood for fun, felt all macaframa bombing hills with seated skids heheh
went back to realistic 35/15 - still love my beater

p.s: I seriously love my bulletproof cranks, they just look nice haha
