As soon as it hit 50 for the first time, I was out riding in shorts with a long sleeve baselayer under the jersey. Anything warmer than that is just a bonus.

finally got a chance to get back out on the saddle tonight. I rotated my back wheel a bit due to skid patches, and took out for a quick run around time. It felt great, just bombing hills at night and busting a few whip skids for grins.
Forgot how much fun it was to play bikes...

Didn't realize it was gonna be as nice as it was out today here and had a bunch of stuff scheduled so didn't get home till about 7:30pm, luckily it's supposed to be nice tomorrow though.

track racing tonight was kewl. first night in the "B's"
Win - N - Out:
Format was 8 -laps followed immediately by a Win - N - Out. Some bigger sprinter dudes with better positioning started mobilizing in front of me for lap 1 (lap 9) and I knew it would be a crapshoot trying to beat them so I just used it as a ride to/off the front. I had no problem taking lap 10 for 2nd place.
30 lap points:
Tonight the points went 4 deep every 5 laps. I think its something like 5,3,2,1 points for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th across the line each lap, respectively. I scored 22 points and took the win, spending much of it off the front with another rider trading 1st/2nd across a couple points laps.

Rode 30 miles just now with my bro and best friend. Even though my knees have been wrecked the last three weeks from a sports related injury, it felt good. Now I'm sitting here with tiger balm on my knees recuperating.

I'm trying to promote a race going on here in a couple of weeks and bikeforums won't let me add URL's to my signature, even though I already have a URL in there. It won't even let me edit it.
What the ****?
