That's not my leg. I googled "skinny leg guys" and that came up in the images.

Jaytron 10-06-11 03:25 PM

This is why I get nervous scrolling through bfssfg in public places.

hamfoh 10-06-11 06:57 PM

just got this email in regards to my 725. was looking for a beater too. thoughts?

I have a 55cm Raleigh rush hour frame with fsa headset, shimano bottom bracket, carbon fork, and kalin seatpost i would trade strait up...or possibly frame and some cash? Hit me up, would like to cut a deak. The frane is the first re-issue, and had nice lettering and paint

Not exactly today, more like over the last couple months, I my wife and I have separated. It's been a mutual thing a long time coming, as we have been together since 1999 when I was a junior in high school. We then got married quite young in 2004. We basically felt like we have grown up together, without having had a chance to be our own individuals. The past few years have been a constant cycle of good and bad times. The good was great, but the bad was F---ing terrible. Luckily, we both still love eachother very much, so there are no ill feelings between us. Unfortunately, the timing isn't the best for me. For the past month or so I have been couch surfing/living at my parents place. Not fun. I wasn't able to save up enough for a decent apartment, because of too many bills and other unexpected expenses. Lately I greatly appreciate my friends and family for housing me, though feeling homeless right now is quite a s---ty feeling. Some time in the next month or two I should have enough for deposit and rent, after I buy a cheap winter beater bike, of course!

That all being said, today I caught up on at least 30 pages of this thread. It's been my first real day off in quite some time. Not to mention I don't have constant web access, and I detest looking at the forums on my POS Blackberry.

Dannihilator 10-06-11 08:23 PM

Sorry to hear.

Today was a good day.

yummygooey 10-06-11 08:53 PM

aren't the completes sub of 600? anyway I probably will because even if I don't like it, the market for a 55cm Raleigh is gonna be better than a 58 725. I don't think 99.9999999% of the cyclist in Houston know what Leader is

Went to Occupy Houston today, was basically a hippie drum circle with some funny signs

edit: just got sent a tiny pic, wheels/crankset/saddle/stem/bars not included

calbob76 10-06-11 10:26 PM

waiiiit! i misred. it's not a pro it's just a regular rush hour? less enthusiastic now

Leukybear 10-06-11 10:30 PM

I wouldn't do it.

Woo post #4500!

hamfoh 10-06-11 10:43 PM

how much cash should he have to throw in? sorry for the derail, but this fool lives in Austin and I can't botch this thing. I was thinking when I first read it that his stuff is around a $200 value

When it was new... but when you factor in its unknown history and age, I'm pretty sure his bike's older than your leader... I'd ask for $150 cash on top cause honestly I wouldn't give a care about any of the generic no frills stuff that comes with the frame. Yummmm kalin seatpost, UN54 BB, generic carbon fiber fork with sluggy road rake milk shake.
