Ah, so that's why there were people riding around the velodrome grass last weekend.

Today I didn't get a ride in, and feel like an arsehole for it. Chilled with my little brother who was in town for the weekend from college, so not all bad.

Tonight, I did a 250m and kilo goldsprint...took the bus home.

Today I said goodbye to my Aerospoke, which I paid $75 for last year and just sold on eBay for three hundred and fifty dollars.

I am SO bad at off-camber. So bad. I really need to practice it more. Doesn't help that I have toe overlap problems so not only do I have to worry about balance and placement of my feet w/r/t the hillside, I also have to worry about where my feet are w/r/t/ my front wheel. Sigh.

We didn't have any stairs this course (I really loved the flyover from a few weeks ago, sigh), but we had a six-pack of barriers that was pretty challenging. Otherwise it was a fast, long, straight course with some hills and just a bit of woodsy/mulchy/muddy singletrack.

Edited to add: next week is HALLOWEEN and I will be racing in this.

Today I woke up, went to work, prepped some plasmid, went to class, took a nap in the library, went to another class, coached some friends in how to take an ochem exam, now I get write a lab report :(

ebay is ****ing insane with aerospokes / hed3 / etc - you can litereally get MORE for them on there used than you can at shops brand new. it is insane.

i even see used leader frames selling for $15 below brand new cost... but with $50 shipping. do these people not have google?

I know what you mean; it's a seller's paradise through.
It's mostly international buyers with money to blow jacking up prices; some stores don't ship international and those that do often times do not carry all the products in demand.

Today I need to call my mom and say thanks for going through all that trouble to give birth to me 46 years ago... :)
