lol
I did the same thing two years ago before going to New Orleans. Bad idea considering it hits freezing at night there in winter

One year I went to ATL for Xmas and it was colder than Portland, fer chrissakes! It gets a little chilly in the dirty south sometimes.

feels good! my usual is a #2 crewcut, but lately i've been shaving w/o a guard. love not having to worry about hat/helmet hair.

Rode on what might be the last nice day of the year. Sadly, everyone else on the MUP had the same idea so it was crowded as tits. My inner thigh has bruises from how many times I had to skid to wait for other people.
About to merc in poker tonight as well.

Psh, this is the first Chicago Thanksgiving weekend I can remember without some form of snow.

rode a good ~35 miles. then rode another 14 (there and back) to this awesome hot dog place downtown where I had some good food and beer and fun with friends.

Tonight I'm looking forward to tomorrow's weather. 60° = impromptu half-century for the RG crew.

Today I received my package from RG. I'm really impressed with the quality of the SRAM cranks, they look awesome and I'm about to go install them. Good prices and super quick shipping too, I will definitely buy again. Thanks Scrod.

Today I: Rode from SF to Mountain View along my normal commute route. Only this time I was solo (usually ride with at least 2 other people) and had a backpack with a full change of clothes. I clocked my fastest time yet. My Garmin says 2:00:2 moving time at 19.8mph avg, but Strava cheated me out of a minute and 0.1mph
Without others around to instigate shenanigans on the sprint segments, I was able to set a minimum speed limit for myself and just hold it there the entire ride as best I could: around 22-23.5mph.
Tomorrow: 80mi Rapha ride!

Started bidding on an aluminum frame. Brand new and in my size and being one of my dream frames, I put a max bid of $500. I'd love to show the link, but I don't want any more competition on this thing.

My day consisted of work, my band getting offered a last minute show tomorrow night, ending up on the trunk of a cab while going to an absolutely turrible Critical Mass that (for me and a friend at least) ended very soon after a guy started yelling at the cops about pepper spray and *****ing about how they're not actually helping CM, awesome hot dogs at Byron's, beers, shuffleboard, more beers, bike ride, more beers, more bike ride, conversation with my wife about whether or not our marriage makes sense/is going to ever work, and then a conversation with a friend about how awesome we each think the other one is that was interspersed with crying and a discussion about consomme. Odd day, but still totally awesome.
Tomorrow's plan is to cat-sit, do a solo half century, and go play a concert. Again, sounds like a fantastic day.

Today Angie, myself and a few others did about 50 miles worth of riding with a bunch of good stops and goofing around along the way.

Today was my first day of skiing for the season. Came home to ride and found a flat back tire. Fourth one this semester. The patch compound is drying as I type.

I really want to like it but after today, my gooch is telling me to switch back to the Turbo. I was wearing padded liners too. Oof.
