Are you going to keep riding with the 3 piece bb or buy a cartridge bb?

I just lost the bet of my life to my wife. I'll have to dress up as a girl for 3 days. Please kill me now.
Thought we weren't being serious, but **** happens in life.

I'm keeping the 3 piece meal. It was actually remarkably clean since it has a plastic piece that seals out any crud from getting in there. I just re greased the bearings and tightened it a little bit.

The bearings were in a retainer which, according to what I've read can be discarded and is only for quicker assembly. Maybe next time it's apart I'll take the retainer out.

I wasn't saying anything about 3 piece BBs, but I guess you're trying to be ironic.

COOL

Anyways, today, I just missed the Bike swap meet in Arcata, hung out with my significant other for a couple hours before she went to work, took a shower, and have pretty much just sat around healing all day. Bought a new White rando because my other BRAND NEW one has the wire sticking out and keeps popping my tube...lame. This will probably be Rando I buy if my new Wire bead jack isn't as awesome as expected
Oh, and emailed someone about a sweet Trek Alpha 1000 roadie, and seeing how low he'd go (which is 350) I wish I wasn't such a tight ass about buying things, because I really like it, and a few others that have been up lately on CL, but refuse to buy them cause they're never under 100, haha!
Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to ride a bit without regretting it later, I have some things I wanna do(one of which is literally just to ride)

Bikes: Too Many

This morning I woke up too early, kissed my one week old daughter good bye and rode my bike to work.

The one week old is my second. I have a four year old that will almost knock me down when I get home. It is my favorite part of the day.

My youngest nephew had a phase like this until he punched his favourite uncle and his uncle "punched" him back.

Not hard, and more of a touch and a push but it shocked his 4 year old self enough that he stopped punching people as he understood that if you dish it out, you better be able to take it.

Did not stop him from breaking my foot one day when we were wresting around and he did a flying heel drop to the top of my foot while I was dealing with his tag team partners (brother and cousin) who had not tagged in and were double teaming me.

It was a seriously impressive move... he had a good teacher.

So far I woke up way to early for work, watched an episode of 3rd Rock from the sun, ate some oatmeal, drove to work, created 6 userIDs on multiple servers, and now I'm lurking on this site..pretty good Monday! Oh and also anxiously awaiting for Thursday(Fiance has a Dr. appointment to she if she is pregnant! =) crossing my fingers!)

Congratulations... even though your better half deserves most of the credit.

There has only been one day when I did not appreciate having a 4 year old launch herself into my lap when I got home... had just returned from getting the big V and the freezing was just starting to wear off.

My tip... should you decide to join the club... wear a cup for a few days as if small girls who call you dad are running around they can launch themselves at you without warning and they have pointy little knees.

If you think getting hit in the nads hurts now, you have no idea.
