yeah they're already replacing the front light for me that stopped turning on so I sent the same guy an emailing asking to throw in a case.

I should've said 'semi' misleading to me, but now that I watch it again, maybe it was my pre coffee snarkiness. The video gave me a 'made by whitey in usa' vibe, but upon further inspection, they're pretty good about not showing any faces.

love mine fwiw too, probably ordering another pair once retro-gression stocks them / slips me coupons under the table.

I had a great conversation with the Thomson guys at NAHBS. I was asking them about a X2 that was drilled for cable stop on a cross bike at the show. The guys said that the top was the worst place to do that. He told me to drill the side of the stem (neutral plane) if I was to do it. He went on to tell me that they could completely remove most of the material on the side of the stem and it would be just as strong but no one would ride it. they actually did the fatigue test on it and it performed just as well as a stock stem. Craziness.

today my hair hurts

Scrodzilla 03-09-12 02:35 PM

I hate when that happens. I once kept my dreads tied back for three days straight and when I undid them, I was in agony for an entire day.

TMonk 03-09-12 02:51 PM

i used to tell ppls that I had to wash my hair as an excuse for why I couldn't go out.

that was when I had a buzz cut.

it was usually because I wanted to ride early the next morning like a boss

Today I went to my LBS... the owner was machining some tooling in the basement. Harry Havnoonian is making bikes again! and I want one...

Today I fed my wife a toothpaste oreo. She usually doesn't eat them but I knew this flavor was a once in a life time chance, the 100 year celebration birthday cake flavour. The trick was to only partially replace the creme with toothpaste, that way they get to taste the cookie with their palette and then come tot he shocking realization. I wish I recorded her gag reflex. Yes, revenge is sweet. It was also nice knowing you guys.

I had a girl give me that line once. She was bitter over someone mentioning another girl in front of her. Still friends. Ended up getting some boob. Cool story.

Anyways, today I sat on my lousy, unemployed ass and watched the entire first season of Jersey Shore on Netflix while deciding whether or not I wanted to ride. Life sucks.

Drummerboy1975 - Tell people it's a new dual sport bicycle that was just released.

Dannihilator 03-09-12 09:23 PM

Today brought another ride on the mtb and did more work installing hardwood floor.

Scrodzilla 03-09-12 09:30 PM

Today I had to sit around for over an hour in the cold waiting for some idiot to come remove the bike he locked to a bike rack through my front triangle. I was not amused.

How'd you handle the conversation?

Scrodzilla 03-09-12 09:34 PM

The censor will make it unreadable. I actually kept my cool surprisingly well until he began coming across like he did nothing wrong.

The worst part of it is that my bike was only locked up for about 15 minutes while I grabbed a "quick" lunch.

I'll say its a Hybrid Throwback. It's this new fangled twist to build new bikes, but some how make them look vintage.

You definitely handled that better than I would've. Especially if he made me late for something

Hmmm, now I'm amost scared to run my 160mm Tioga stem with cable stop. Maybe the steel is realness of it will protect me. :)

That 930 could be so rad with good saddle, black seatpost and headset stuff.

Oh and pedal choice.

Oh and maybe swap out that 14-32 (guess) cluster for a 13-24, or even 21 if yer he-man!
