Today I completed my fixed gear build. Am happy. Maiden voyage tomorrow with Jaytron and Jandro - 40 miles of cruising fun :)

Today I took my new GP4000S's out on their first ride. It was amazing! Those things felt like they could roll forever. So smooth and grippy. Even with a headwind they still felt 100x smoother better than my old tires. Could not be happier.

Today I hung out with a friend, did some riding, got a few books about starting a new restaurant and finding investors, found out my Rev-X shipped, and now I'm going to go self-medicate my depression with some whiskey.

Tonight, im pretty damn drunk (birthday).

Both of my bikes are at the shop, due to be finished tomorrow. Feels really lonely and pathetic without a bike. But whateves. Got class tomorrow anyway. THey be callin me after and my bikes be done!

built up my front wheel at el tracko boutiquo.

today i: rode my track bike to work without tightening the axel nuts past hand tight. hate on lawyer tabs all you want them ****s is AWESOME.

yes, i did this knowing full well what i was doing and that it could have killed my bike and me. yes, it was the stupidest thing i've done in years. yes, i regret it. no, it didn't kill me. my commute is 1.6 miles.

tonight i:
made an awesome brat dinner, and watched happy endings on hulu. when dave holds alex's hand at the end of the reception it's probably the most romantic thing i've seen this year on tv that isn't on Parenthood or Adventure Time.

Depending on color choices just under 500 before labor and shipping (retrogression quote). You can also sacrifice aerodynamics for cash if you need to, and use Sapim lasers to shave off about 2 bucks a spoke, with barely a change in weight. 400+ grams under Mavic Ellipses advertised weight of 1895g, both being 30mm deep, with bladed spokes, although this set has a 24 spoke rear compared to Mavic's 20 spokes, which would theoretically make it stiffer.

This build was the result of my break in between classes on Tuesdays. First class ends at 11:20, next class starts at 6pm. I get bored. I get productive.
