Just checked on my neighbour's cat... some waste of skin thought it would be fun to wrap an elastic band around her paw and think that she will be okay as her paw is swollen but warm and the next few hours will tell alot.
My neighbour is a retired doctor so she knows what to look for and loves this cat more than anything... it showed up one day and adopted her and is the sweetest thing. People who do this kind of thing need to be beaten... repeatedly. |
Passover has severely restricted my eating options... I've had In-n-out 2 times over the last 4 days, and in-between that matzah with butter on it. Yuck.
|
Yesterday we had a barcrawl! And $3 all you can eat tacos! And a pitcher party! And fish bowls! And wine night! And people spilling beer in other people's pockets!
I was actually gonna go home after the first bar, but then I realized if I went home I was going to fall asleep and not do any work anyways. |
Today I discovered Dolan Bikes has a 0% interest payment plan...

uh oh... If you have to buy things on payment plans then you probably shouldn't be buying to begin with, 0% interest or not.... |
very cool, but I don't want to be on a damn payment plan for a bike.
|
True story. I'm not that great at keeping track of my money (used to be, then bikes happened) but if I don't have money for something I'm not buying it, end of discussion.
I picked up a grading position this semester so I could have some more bike/beer money. Then at the end of the semester I won't be like wteff happened to all my dollhairs. |
Cleaned the bike this morning. Degreased, lubed, wonderful...
Went on a fun ride (~3.4k / 54miles): http://app.strava.com/rides/6592685 http://www.collectivedesign.net/bike/dirty.jpghttp://www.collectivedesign.net/bike/dirty.jpghttp://www.collectivedesign.net/bike/dirty.JPG Dirty again. Note to self : Do not neglect road bike for 1500 miles. |

I will advise against this, simply because it is too much bike for you IMO (too much for me for sure).
One day. Besides, I have a kilo to abuse. |
Also because you can probably get a lot better deals on all those parts elsewhere.
|
yeah getting the frameset on a payment plan (or even a road bike maybe) is one thing, but letting them charge you MSRP for bars, chains, tape, etc would basically be paying interest.
