but I wanted cider and to try out the opener. I think it would be even cooler to take a torch to these so I have just the dropout tab without the rest of the fork material.

Today I had a build session then threw the mtb around some. It's going to feel good to get on the road tomorrow.

Looks like a cool little bike. 650c front, right? What did you pay for it?
angle does make it looks like the 700/650 combo, but she got the model with two 650 wheels. full tiagra minus the tektro calipers, carbon fork, Shimano m324 pedals, was quite the price. it also looks 500x better in person |

Best April Fools Day action yet: Google Maps 8-Bit. Click on the Quest button, upper right.
And the nifty video : |
Lol, did they use textures from the Adventures of Link? Gold cartridge memories...

Today I heard this song:
My reaction: http://media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m101l42ubI1qk9b9q.jpg Don't worry guys, she got back with chrispy brownie and usually you die the second time around. |
Today I attempted to KOM a segment in Strava.
Kept failing again and again and again. I didn't think wind would affect me as much as it did. Gust after gust... Then I checked the weather maps on my phone. 28MPH winds blowing in my face FTW. I will go for it again tomorrow. |

PFFT, last monday I had 40mph headwinds at times. Nothing beats being in the drops and hammering and only mustering 8mph.
Going into 28mph headwind, I could only muster 20-25mph in the drops... I felt like I was sick or something. |
Today I snapped the straps off my pedals. This in addition to snapping the buckles on my snowboard bindings the other day leads me to the conclusion that I either need to buy better quality stuff in the future or all these leg workouts are starting to pay off. Probably the former...

Descending hawk hill with gusts :0

Today I didn't do anything bike related , however - my chain whip tool and lock ring spanner arrived. Excited to change my gear ratio next weekend when I get my bike out of storage.

Today I found out I'm going to Nashville in a couple weeks with my wife. Any cycling tips?
|
Find the bike path that goes straight through downtown and right by the titans stadium. It's a nice ride. Also there are a lot of rolling hills just outside the city that are beautiful. Drivers are a little feisty though. Have fun!

Today I found a buyer for my conversion. woot.

Back in Columbia, MO, about to get back on the road home. Reality sucks. This was my first and definitely not my last time going to CO.
http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7234/7...3dfa66a8_b.jpg Altitude and elevation kicked my ass, but I feel like a stronger rider because of all that. |
I bought Journey for PSN. Beat it.
It was such a rest game, really an emotional experience. |
