at least you caught it. When I was new I rode with a saddle that was an inch or so too low and over time it created a strength imbalance in my quads (oddly just in one leg), which causes the patella to track poorly and click. I've been working on it but it hasnt fully returned to normal.

So I finally got my phone charged. Bowling with Jacob & Ben from Converge and Lucius & Chuck from Git Some, plus a couple chicks that do porn for Burning Angel Productions, the chef and sous chef from Kuma's, and the booking and security crew from Reggie's Rock Club was awesome. Seriously, best night I've had in a while. Only thing I can think of that was better was Chef's Table at The Aviary with the love of my life. Bowling, some drinking (Converge dudes are straight edge), and plenty of debating about bikes and music. Afterward, I rode up to karaoke for a grand total of roughly 35 miles today. Awesome, awesome day.

Thats going to be a huge jump in gearing. Try working your way up unless you want your rides to be painful and miserable.

just installed a 17t cog and new lockring with a new white kmc chain using rotafix method.

pain in the ass.. hardest part was the chain..

note to self... do not let the pin fall all the way out when shortening the chain

2nd gen record pista bruh. The only crankset I'm without ATM sadly.

Near impossible to get w/o paying at or near retail.
Seem them on ebay but people are ******** and bid near retail; see them local and I'm always too slow to jump on
I'm determined not to buy them anywhere near retail as I purely want them for cosmetics.

Today I broke in my new fixed gear bike. (Why does it sound like I'm at an AA meeting whenever I post in this thread?)

Pretty fun route, good day overall. Ended the ride at HRD eating some crazy rice / beef / kimchi dish with Jaytron.

Ride was 62 miles and 3000ft of elevation :

It's interesting how this bike keeps me going and going. I felt a bit tired during the ride at times, but pushing through helped me beat a few of my road bike times.

I have a job. I have deadlines at my job. I manage my time so that I'm working during the night, and riding during the day. It's safer that way. Otherwise, I'd just be riding at night. (This was a solo ride, Jay had work)

Ah I gotcha. I was just wondering. A few weeks ago I rode every day and ended the week with a 200k... it was glorious. I also only had one homework assignment to do that week.

I wish I was out riding right now... 68 and sunny. But I have an 8 hour exam on Saturday that I have to prepare for. Lulz.
