Just know that equation book from front to back. One of the biggest things is being able to find the equation you're looking for quickly.
And if you know anyone with a PPI exam cafe account run through a couple of practice exams on there. It helped me tremendously because the problems on exam cafe were much harder than the actual exam.

I have a study book that a friend gave me. He was an architecture student but took the FE exam and passed just fine, so I'm hoping my years upon years of math and science will put me in a good position to pass. I have no idea how scoring works or anything... I just don't want my $168 registration fee to go to waste.
yummy, you're in chicago right? what university?

I am talking about the FE supplied reference handbook that you will get for the exam. It helps to know that thing well.

I'm from the 'burbs of Chicago, but I go to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Ah, yea. Jeez that thing is hefty. Thanks for the heads up!

Today I took the wife to pick out a bike and get fitted. She picked a Linus Roadster coastie. Found out when attempting a test ride that she never really learned how to ride a bike. Turned into a disaster. Sucks too, because we were going to go on rides as a way to spend more time together. I tested a Jamis Xenith Comp. It was cool, but shifting/coasting was odd.

Sounds like the perfect opportunity to spend some time together helping her learn how to ride a bike. That will take some patience I would imagine, then even more patience as you get her used to riding on the street in traffic.

I don't think it'll take that long. I had a female friend who was quite uncoordinated and had never learned to ride a bike until she wanted me to teach her. I had her use the bike as a sort of seated scooter and after about 20mins she was able to keep balance. After 10-15 more minutes she was able to pedal as well.

Today I gave my netbook to my daughter and picked up a blackberry playbook for my wandering web needs... Was looking at other tablets but wanted smaller and more portable.
Today I... placed 2nd on an easy hill that I've been climbing for the past week. Took me 2:48 to get to the top of the park. Don't think I'll ever be able to beat the 1st place guy since he's a whole 30 seconds ahead of me.

today I came home tired as hell, no real sleep for the last 2-3 days. pissed the girlfriend off beyond belief, then slept for 9 hours
Last night I sang Sexy And I Know It at karaoke. Today, it is stuck in my head.
Do you experience pain in your knee from this? I do not, this is what I found. The issue is that the Vastus Medialis does most of its work towards full leg extension while the Vastus Lateralis is sort of the main quad muscle. Getting the saddle up the correct position was my first move and has done a lot. You can do exercises that isolate the Medialis like extending your leg, pressing on the Medialis, and flexing it. repeat
