Today I took some pics of the raddest mixte ever. Hoping to take it for a spin the next dry day we have.

Today I had a fantastic Session at the pumptrack, and installed a new hard drive in my computer.

Today, I had my ball joints replaced on my Impreza(which has made me enjoy my car all over again), returned my Keo Plus pedals to REI, bought some Serfas Supreme Grip tape, and rewrapped my MASH bullhorns.

Today I did a recovery ride from yesterdays climb... by climbing some more. Joining a "team" has put a ton of pressure for me to be faster :|
Today I worked for the first time after a 2.5 week vacation. It felt good, but those nine hours kicked my ass.
I bet that grip is comfy, but man is it an eyesore in that pic
Yeah, it's not the best grip tape, but I got it at cost at the LBS so I figured I'd give it a shot. I guess we'll see how comfy it is, if the comfort factor outweighs the aesthetics, then I'll leave it. If my palms are still hurting, then I'll at least wrap the bars in something nicer looking.

Performed at the 49ers groundbreaking ceremony for their new ceremony. It was pretty cool. I saw a glimpse of myself on tv.

That's a bit disheartening. I always feel rather uncomfortable for the first 3 or 4 miles, where I switch hand positions about 40 times, then I finally settle on one(generally right on the bend from the flats to the horns) and stay that way for much of the rest of the ride. I'm thinking about giving drops/hoods another shot though. I just don't want to drop(pun) the coin on decent hoods and end up disliking the setup.

I just looked, and have wrapped all of my bars in that direction:

Have I really being doing it wrong?
All the photos I've seen are wrapped in the same direction.
Edit: I'm an idiot. So the bars on my 722 were properly wrapped, and both of the times I've done the MASH horns, I've done it wrong? :|

Yeah, it's right on your 722. Don't sweat it, it happens to all of us.
Well, I wasn't thrilled about the new tape anyways, now I have an excuse to tear it off without offending my LBS buddy who hooked me up.

Today I loled (again) at the current state of the post your fixed gear thread
Today I was a bar tapin' fool.
New levers, calipers, bars, stem and chainring (42/16 110BCD -> 46/16 130BCD). Love these cane creek levers, so solid.
Old:

New:

Also fixed the bizarre ergo placement the previous owner set up on my 'Cross:
Then:

Now:

The SS tape is new (had two sets, why not?), managed to salvage the 'Cross' tape. SW8.
