I completely forgot we had that shoe thread!

Adidas Stan Smith tennis shoes were always and continue to be one of my favourite shoes... they are nearly indestructible.

Here's a far away, looks "almost new" shot before my test ride. I really need to get that stem sorted out. It's definitely too high.

Next time you let your bike get that bad, I'm stealing it from you and slapping you in the face.

striknein 05-04-12 11:30 PM

Seriously. That's ****ing shameful.

hairnet 05-05-12 01:16 AM

Gigantor, I wouldn't be surprised if you need a new chain. ride it the ground and replace all the things after

today I am thinking of colorways for my frame. I think I want to do some sort of iconic color scheme that would relate to something. I just wish I was a x men or star wars nerd, would be a lot easier

Today I placed third in a Strava segment I created. 2mph separates first from tenth. I am pretty stoked though, because in every segment I've placed I'm the only dude not rocking multiple gears.

hmdns 05-05-12 07:18 AM

Today I started to ride with clipless pedals...it feels good tho' but still thinking about it, just because I ride my bike for daily to college...

Dude, that's an awesome prize pool. GOOD LUCK and be safe out there. Road races are the nuts.

Today I'm finally done with zone 2 week, and I'm starting a real training plan. Finally get to do some real riding.

Yup. I definitely need a new chain.

Bought the bike in November, haven't replaced it since. Honestly if I had just taken better, more regular care of everything, the wear wouldn't be so bad.

Today I'm uploading my vacation pics. Thought you guys would like this one. (Amsterdam, that's me on a very-much-not-fixie rental bike -- it's got a three-speed IGH.)

Sounds like a perfect day...

My list also includes volunteering at the bike co-op today... we just opened a new location on the north side which is 5 minutes from my house so my first ride of the day won't be long.

Supposed to be nice later this afternoon so a little ride is also in order.

Already have my coffee and am enjoying it from the confines of my man cave.

hamfoh 05-05-12 12:15 PM

today I am riding out to the velodrome (about 27 miles from my place, but not exactly a convenient way there) to watch a guy ride around it for 24 hours for Histiocytosis
