Today I:
I'm a fan of Torchy's in Austin. I think it may be the only fast food Mexican chain I actually enjoy when I'm not drunk. I cannot wait to go back to Austin this summer. Breakfast tacos are calling my name.

No lie, I dream about Torchy's. When I lived there I was about a block from their original S. 1st location and went there at least twice a week for two years. Every time I go back I stop ASAP, on my way into town, before I even check in to my hotel.
I'm five days out from eating at Torchy's while I'm on vacation back home. Two weeks of riding with the wife between Colorado Bend State Park and Lake Travis. I only hope I pack enough beer.
Today my friend had an awesome idea for a Ukranian telecommunications service...
Chermobile.
For a logo we were thinking a severely disfigured Cingular man.

Well if you run out there'll be plenty of places to pick up a 12 pack of Lone Star.

Today I swore just a little more than usual... that damn crank arm is frozen solid so I guess I am just going to have to see if I can ride that arm off as the gear puller isn't working.
Will make sure I pack the right tools and the replacement crank arm...

Today I got an easy 60 miles in, had a pretty ok burger, and missed getting a free tattoo by about a minute. Tonight, I go see this band and it will be incredible.

OUCH!!!!
There's plenty of good taco joints in Portland. When I first moved there in 1992 there was only one that I knew of. Lots of good trucks now! Head out west a few miles to Hillsboro and you can have some of the finest Caldo de Res in the free world! I used to have passable caldo de res two blocks from my old apartment, now I'm 5 miles away from it
Best Al Pastor I ever had was in San Bernadino, CA and I've tried lots of AZ and MX Al Pastor.
