If you're reading this, and are in college, and aren't applying for scholarships, you need to. As a white male, I am probably exempt from at least 75% of scholarships, and have still paid for my first year of college, have my second year paid for, due to renewable scholarships have all of college paid for, and have made quite a bit of profit. There is soooooo much money that people are trying to give away.

hah I've been on in off school for a decade and have foolishly never applied for one. up to my eyeballs in student loans though!

I write a couple essays, give a speech or two, and get money thrown at me. Sometimes its less work than that.

If you go back, or are currently attending, look around.

I do not miss college.

even though its community college, scholarships pay for my schooling entirely, and since im over 25 now i get a sexy tax break at the end of the year on top of that
free money is where its at, just have to know where to find it

If tuition and living expenses were paid, I had pocket money, and the campus was in a good biking area, I'd go back.

That's where I put mine.

Nope, it was under the lawn mower.

lol wut. That almost makes me feel bad about not preparing at all (I'm doing one this week). As in I've been doing like 20 mile rides. I think I can get away with it. It's going to be flat, and I'm better on a road bike, so hopefully I'll do fine.

Riding 20 mile rides regularly IS a form of preparation. You'll be fine.

Hopefully the lawnmower was off when you made this discovery.

Yesterday I decided that Lexapro wasn't good for me. I was always felt like an over-enthusiastic tour guide about everything, yet had no real emotions, so I didn't take it yesterday or today. On the ride home from work I randomly started thinking about all of my friends and family members that have died, all of the friends I never see or speak to, the ex-girlfriend I am still in love with, and how I miss all of them, and had to pull over because I couldn't see to ride with tears in my eyes. Back to the medication I guess. I'd rather be an overly peppy emotional zombie than depressed.

Other than that, I took the long way home and got in a good twenty miles. Great weather for riding right now.

Also, I just watched the new video from The Offspring. First off, why are they still a band? Second, WHAT THE **** HAPPENED TO THEM!? I think a part of me died. Seriously. It's like LMFAO got Dexter to do a guest vocal for them.

I felt that way about Smash.

Let me guess, your favorite Green Day album is Kerplunk and your favorite Nirvana Album is Bleach, right?

I actually liked Nevermind a lot and didn't care for any of Green Day, but you have pretty much nailed my cohort. My point was that in ten years, the changes that a band makes will have a completely different context. I don't dislike Smash now like I did back then.

Hey, Bleach is a great album. I'm going to say Incesticide is their best though.

today i took a birthday ride for what i thought was going to be a couple leisurely miles and ended up flying around for 16 miles and ended up hitting 43 mph on the first downhill a couple blocks from my house

saw an older roadie pulled over checkin out his bike and asked if he needed help, he said he thought he had a flat but he was fine, seemed astonished that i even asked

yay bikes!

now to the gfs house and receive bike goodies :)

i would say it qualifies, that is a fairly intense single(?) dread

saw a super jamaican in washington sq park one time with what appeared to be one monstrous dread growing out of his melon, was intense
