today i am spending hella time in the office (aka the man cave) throwing stuff at my co-workers, talkin' **** and having a beer or two here and there.

I spent the last few days bustin' ass in the lab fabricating and QC'ing a huge order for Trent university and now I have tons of paperwork to do.
I'm still running a process in the lab that will take ~9 hours, but it only requires tending every 45 min or so until the end of the day, so ill be running around typing this and that or helping coworkers wit whatever.

Well that was fun. Got run into a parked car by an ******* in a Mercedes SUV on the way home. I'm fine, might get a bruise on my elbow from where I hit the side of the parked car but maybe not even that. I'm just angry because I yelled as it was happening and he saw me hit the car and stop completely and he just kept going and took his right turn and drove away. Jackass.

I got his license plate # and tweeted it immediately. I do that a lot as practice to improve my instincts/memory should I ever be in or witness a serious accident. It got retweeted a bunch so that makes me happy a little.

It's actually Roger Berry's "Rising Wave"

Great guy, I met him once at a gala, he has a bunch of installations all around the bay area and even Davis for you Aggies around here.

That's sweet. People think I'm nuts for taking my FG off-road or on gravel grinders, but I don't think it's that big of a deal.

Glad you're ok. Makes me kinda feel bad for encouraging you to leave work early.

Today I have been running around, couldn't find any new pants I liked, might have to cancel my trip to Milwaukee, found out my mother-in-law tried to kill herself, and may have broken something in my hand by punching a wall out of anger. I haven't done that in five years. I think the stress is getting to me. I need a bike ride.

My next project is definitely fixed MTB. I've been hunting for a nice cromo Horiz Dropout frame but will probably have to start with the Hot Magna.

Went for my first ride in a week since wiping out and hurting my arm. Wrist is still a little tender in the joints so I had to take it easy on climbs and watch out for bumps, but got in a nice 16.5 miles. According to Strava's leader board for segments of my ride, I need to HTFU a lot.

Today I sold the gigantic Nishiki, which I'd been riding for the last 4 days or so. Now I'm riding bike with bars at least a foot lower. I feel like I could lick the pavement if I wanted to.

Tonight I'm staying up until I have to go to work at 5 am. Glad its only a 4 hour shift, and I can't wait for this coming week when they put me back on a regular weekly schedule.

Yeah, sometimes that's easier said than done. Resetting your sleep schedule is hard for some people.

I'm on my way to Milwaukee. Woo.

Didn't really have the option. So I'll kill myself and stay awake all day today, sleep good tonight, and then be better off for being back to my normal schedule. It sucks, but its totally worth it.
