Today I ate a butter-basted pork chop, fried eggs, and bacon grease-poached fingerlings for breakfast. Cue heart attack...NOW!

Mumonkan 09-24-12 03:16 PM

LesterOfPuppets 09-24-12 04:36 PM

Today I guess this fingernail isn't gonna fall off. So excited I might have to celebrate with a manicure.

Today I'm fixing my glasses with Krazy Glue. Do you guys think red Loctite would work better?

Don't forget to use a torque wrench and start a thread to chronicle your progress.

Thinking about upgrading to threadless frames.

Mumonkan 09-24-12 05:10 PM

eesh, my gf has some sunglasses that use that plastic string thingy to keep the lenses on and im constantly fixing them for her

threadless ftw

Today brought on a fun 40 mile road ride.

NcA13 09-24-12 06:04 PM

I learned how to properly use leather toe clips... No more slipping!

RGNY 09-24-12 07:13 PM

10mi pub crawl tonight with some hot chicks. due to some celestial convergence, i was the only guy to show up to the Monday night ride.

on the other hand, apparently it's cold enough for me to need to moisturize. calluses started cracking/bleeding, so annoying.

hamfoh 09-24-12 09:07 PM

today I saw a VISP complete sell in 5 minutes on our bikelist board

reminds me of one of those silver painted living sculpture dudes.

seau grateau 09-24-12 09:38 PM

Glasses are cured. In some ways they're actually better than ever because the lens/plastic string that's glued together shouldn't be able to fall out anymore.

1st day of no car and full time commuting on my bike. Definitely have to get used to carrying a backpack all the time.

My ride to work made my day so much better. I got to work in a really good mood.

Mumonkan 09-24-12 09:48 PM

my favorite part about commuting really, when i drive to work i never really wake up and feel crappy all day

Dannihilator 09-24-12 09:49 PM

Nice.

BigglyPuff 09-24-12 10:04 PM

Just got home from work to see Green Bay get absolutely ROBBED.

Replacement refs have to go ASAP.

As much as I wanna see the Seahawks win. That was a Jennings INT.

BigglyPuff 09-24-12 10:13 PM

Well, apparently reality doesn't matter when it comes to the NFL these days.

I'm no Seattle hater, but it was funny watching them celebrate like that last play was legit, like they really earned it. The "W" got dropped into their laps by incompetent refs.

Nagrom_ 09-24-12 10:16 PM

That was one of the most bull**** calls I've ever seen in my entire life.

hamfoh 09-25-12 02:46 AM

today I was moving my tires from my all city wheelset (stock on big block) to my old deep vs. forgot how mfing hard the rimbos are to mount. seriously gave up after 30 minutes of just trying the REAR. haven't quit in frustration on a tire since the first time I bought gatorskins I think. it's not from being too tight, I can't get the mfer started, keeps sliding off after I started it. looking forward to tomorrows blister

Leukybear 09-25-12 02:56 AM

Today I had ostrich burgers and I seem to be at a loss of words to describe the taste of what I had omnomnom'd.

Took my track bike to the shop by car today to get some issues resolved. Was so excited to get my baby fixed that I biked 10 miles back home instead. Realized when I got home that the dude at the shop not only re-installed my fork all loose and rattly, he also replaced one of the headset bearings upside down. Fixed the problems when I got home; I'm so glad I'm not just a helpless consumer. I rode my folding bike back to retrieve my car. Folded up the bike, threw it in the trunk, and I was happily on my way.

Kinda makes you wonder why you go to the shop at all. Maybe they're good conversationalists?

Last night I made the drive to Lansing with a few friends to see Foxy Shazam. So amazing. One of our friends bands was an opener too, so we got to see them, which was also pretty rad. But Foxy, so much energy. Their keyboard player actually threw his keyboard into the crowd, and then played it while crowd surfing.

I don't usually wear a watch, but if I did, it'd be that one.
