took the day off to drive the wife to a job interview (looking good, she -hates- sitting home), lunch at the local pub (pork cutlet schnitzel and a stout brewed in-house) and sampled some Knockeen Hills poteen (basically imported Irish grain alcohol). whoa, tasty, danger-danger.

ordered studded snows for the bike and went through my fencing gear to get ready for a tournament on Saturday.

I just realized that after I build up my wheels, and put on some ergonovas, there is really nothing I really want to upgrade on my leader other than the brake and fork.

Bikes: See my sig...

Today I picked up a new workbench for my shop... the tools were not included.

And a new tool cabinet for the sweet tools...

And a new 80,000 btu heater... makes my old bench so warm and cozy.

It has been an expensive week...

Bikes: All of them

Found this random old gem of a tool in a towel my old neighbor gave me, (along with some other small tools and a patch kit)

Also, fenderized commuter and put on new bars + stem:

Yesterday I got a Windows 7 Nokia. I like it so far. I did not miss having a cell phone for the past 6 months though.

Those multi wrenches came in a lot of low end bike repair kits and maybe they still do... and fenders on a commuter is the way it should be unless you live in the desert.

Yeah, they're junk. Bend really easy.
I wish they made a quality one, that'd be cool. Or if craftsman made a stubby dog bone wrench.

Today I got to weather test a new parka and my MW Sanction. Pass for both.

I was down to go ride fireroads today but the sky decided to rain. Instead I'm here and will probably change the shifters on the mtb for something to do

Bikes: everywhere

It was sunny here for a second, so I took off my boots and put on Vans. Then it rained a bit, so thought about putting boots back on, now it's stopped again so Vans might stay on. Think I'll just bring a second pair of sneakers and socks along, I need a break from boots.
